MARKETING ASSISTANT: APPLY HERE...
Marketing Assistant The Marketing Assistant is an important member of the marketing & advertising department and provides administrative support to members of the Marketing/Advertising Dept. as needed. The candidate is not required to have previous experience, but must be a quick-learner with a great deal of motivation and initiative as they will be trained by our staff to assist with the responsibilities listed below.

Job Responsibilities:

• Daily record billing hours to be distributed among companies

• Prepare insertion orders to publishers for print magazine ads

• Ship materials and related product

• Distribute new printed materials throughout office

• Place orders

• Schedule meetings

• General office tasks (answering phones, filing, faxing, etc)

Qualifications & Experience:

• Attention to detail

• Ability to type, edit, and proof

• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, etc.)

• Excellent communication skills with a friendly disposition

• Ability to multitask

Job functions include the installation, maintenance, and administration of server, desktop, and laptop hardware and software. Experience with WAN/LAN configuration and maintenance, and Windows Server 2003, XP, Netscape Email, and MS Outlook administrative knowledge required.

Must have strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to convey computing concepts effectively to non-technical users. Background check and substance screening required.

"Roll-up your sleeves" and join a company at the forefront of the automotive aftermarket and motorsports industry. For this position we are seeking a combination of technical and design savvy to design, develop, and update static and e-commerce websites.

Qualifications and Experience:
  • Proficiency with the following web programming languages is required: ASP, Javascript, HTML, XHTML, CSS, SQL
  • Experience using or desire to learn Adobe Dreamweaver, Flash, Shockwave, and/or Photoshop and MS Access essential
  • Good communication skills, attention to detail required and ability to work in a fast paced team environment
  • Career-minded professional with “real world” web production and development experience, preferably working on multiple websites in a corporate environment. Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Automotive knowledge or interest a plus, but not required

Must be able to work as a team member on long and short term projects and give examples of recent web projects. Projects will include applications development and database integration for several websites and meeting with product managers to implement website changes and updates. Must be familiar with Autocad and Inventor software packages, as well as integration into CAM software. This person must possess excellent communication skills, as they will be required to interface with engineering and quality, as well as outside vendors. Other basic computer skills will be required.  Candidate must be familiar with engines and engine parts (high performance a plus), as well as how these parts integrate together and how different parts work inside an engine. This person must have the ability to think outside of the box to take an idea from concept to drawing in a reasonable amount of time.
